Yoga for beginners

My beginners yoga courses are designed to improve the mental and physical health and well-being for all students. 

 

The beginners yoga course is designed to ease you gently and safely into a regular yoga practice. I introduce a variety of yoga styles and practices including modifications to suit different bodies and abilities. Although most of the course focuses on physical (asana) practice, there is also a strong emphasis on breathing (pranayama) and relaxation too.

 

Both courses are taught in small groups so that I can give people individual attention and the class size is not overwhelming.

My current yoga for beginners classes

Course 1: Yoga for beginners - Mondays

 

Features of the course:

  • basic introduction to yoga practice to give a solid and safe foundation
  • early evening class
  • take-home exercises and handouts included

 

Next intake starts:

Monday 8th January 5:45 pm  7.00 pm, Yoga Loft above Dave's Gym, off Albany Road

 

 

Price:

£48 for 6 week course (or £36 for those on low incomes) (Runs over 6 weeks)

 

1 scholarship space is available for those in extreme hardship

 

Course 2: Yoga for beginners - Tuesdays

 

Features of the course:

  • Basic introduction to yoga practice to give a solid and safe foundation
  • later evening class
  • take home exercises and handouts included

 

Next intake starts:

Tuesday 9th January 7:45pm - 9pm, Cardiff Yoga Studio, off City Road

 

Price:

£48 for a 6 week course (or £36 for those on low incomes)

 

Please note, this is a very popular course and often has a waiting list for spaces. To avoid disappointment, please book ahead.
