Payments for on-line classes
Thank you to everyone who has already been in touch offering to continue to pay for classes – it really does mean a lot, so huge thankyou. Equally, I know there are some of you who are not sure when
you’re next going to receive any income, just been laid off, work disappeared etc, and I really feel for you. You will get through this. Now is when we all need our yoga. So, with that in mind:
Please contact me for details.
Levels:
Beginners - basic, slower, with more detail, simpler movements, designed for people with little or no previous experience. The beginners courses include support via email, handouts, links to websites and videos.
Fundamentals - covers basic practice - consolidation of good technique and setting the foundations for a strong, safe practice. A good class to ease your way back in after a break, to work through injury or stiffness, and to brush up on technique, or more experienced students who want to ensure good technique and consolidate basics.
General - suitable for students with some experience, moderate levels of difficulty. Practice includes sun salutes and a variety of practices including some dynamic flow. Includes some consolidation of basic practice.
General active / dynamic - suitable for students with some experience - the class has more dynamic flow, so includes sun salutes and several sequences flowing through standing poses and other more dynamic sequences. The class is slightly more energetic than the standard general class and good for people who want yoga to balance other sports and activities.
Improvers (1 year minimum) - for more experienced students (generally at least a year if not more). Practice includes more demanding poses or sequences and includes inversions (headstands/handstands/shoulderstands) and arm balances. These classes also include more pranayama and meditation practices.
Deep Relaxation
Each week has a slightly different preceding asana practice.
- this is a very gentle class, nurturing, slow, generally floor based. It is good for healing, dealing with stress and encouraging deeper relaxation. The class usually ends with a 30 minute deep relaxation practice called yoga nidra. This class has nothing strenous or dynamic so is suitable for people with injuries or very little experience. You just need to be able to lie comfortably for 30 minutes.
