I first started practising yoga in 1994. Like many students this was initially motivated by wanting to heal a 'bad back', plus some curiosity. I loved it!
My teaching journey began somewhat unexpectedly with a group of motorcyclists, when it became apparent that I knew some things that could really help this group of people with aching, battered and protesting bodies. I set up an impromptu class which was eagerly received, and so I began.

I have been teaching for over 10 years now, and completed nearly 1000 hrs of training. My students range in age from 12 to nearly 100, and have included: secure mental health unit patients, hospice day patients, professional athletes, dancers, climbers, people with specific issues such as Cystic Fybrosis, MS, ME, Fibromyalgia, scoliosis, depression, panic attacks and a wide selection of members of the public from hairdressers to lawyers, tattoo artists to enginners, social workers, nurses, teachers, council workers, carpenters to directors. Yoga is for everyone.
