I work hard to protect and respect your privacy and confidentiality in all respects.
Although there is much emphasis at the moment on data, I also work hard to protect privacy during class and in front of other students. I will avoid disclosing private information during class - e.g . if a student is in the early stages of pregnancy, has a history of abuse or a certain injury or illness. I am sensitive to providing modifications or alternatives without saying why in front of the group. I am very respectful that people do share things with me that they may well not with most other people and honour that.
I will not sell or rent your information to third parties. I will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
I collect minimal information (usually name and email address, and for beginners - pre-course questionnaires) in order to be able to provide you with the best teaching I can, to guide you to the most appropriate class for your needs, to inform you about upcoming classes or events and changes to classes in the event of illness or bad weather.
In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, I have put in place suitable physical and electronic procedures to safeguard and secure the information.
From May 25th I will not contact you for marketing purposes by email unless you have given your prior consent.
You are welcome to contact me at any time to ask for any personal information I hold about you (e.g. email history, text messages or beginners course questionnaires) to be deleted. You are also welcome to 'unsubscribe' from my mailing list at any time.
If you have any questions regards privacy, please do not hesitate to contact me.
