I currently offer 2 Yoga for Beginners Courses. The standard course is designed to improve the mental and physical health and well-being for all students.
This course aims to ease students gently and safely into a regular yoga practice. I introduce a variety of yoga styles and practices including modifications to suit different bodies and abilities. Although most of the course focuses on physical (asana) practice, there is also a strong emphasis on breathing (pranayama) and relaxation too.
The course is taught in a small group so that I can give people individual attention and the class size is not overwhelming.
I also offer a "Yoga for Beginners Runners Special - focusing on yoga practices that are particularly tailored towards runners: injury prevention, balance, reduction in stiffness, tightness, nagging aches and pains, better recovery, biomechanical balance, breath and mental aspects.

Next Runners Special Yoga for Beginners Course starts: Tuesday 23rd September (7 week course, £65, or £52.50 for those on a reduced income)
Tuesdays, 7.30-8.45pm, Cardiff Yoga Studio, off City Road
Price:
£56 for a 6 week course (or £45 for those on low incomes)
£65 for a 7 week course (or £52.50 for those on low incomes)

1 scholarship (no charge) space is available per intake for those in extreme hardship
